About Us

About Our Organization

New Horizon to the Nations, Inc. is a member of Open Doors Ministry, located at 35 4th Street, in Chelsea, MA. On February 11, 2011, we incorporated our organization and officially became known as New Horizon to the Nations, Inc. We consist of an advisory board, which introduces new ideas, theories, and concepts to better counsel drug abusers and help educate them about the dangers of drugs to both the mind and body.

Our organization currently has two locations, one in Chelsea and the other in Honduras, CA. We pray and trust in the Lord that in the future, with His help, we will establish additional support groups, as well as internships and residential programs, to focus on detoxification, exercise, and proper nutrition.

Our Passion

To help all individuals, especially those less fortunate than us, who have fallen prisoner to drugs and alcohol. Minorities are found to be in the largest percentile of addicts. Therefore, our passion is to provide the tools and support needed to achieve 100% rehabilitation and to see our people lead a life free of drugs, alcohol, and personal traumas.

Our Vision

The vision of New Horizon to the Nations, Inc. is to educate and transform addicts into valuable contributors to society. Our primary goal is to make them better parents, spouses, children, and citizens. We envision that our program will produce pastors, evangelists, and educators, not only in the discipline of drug rehabilitation but also in the path of the Lord. Our motto is “A World Free of Drugs.”

About the Founder

Edwin Del Valle was in and out of jail for more than 15 years, both in Puerto Rico and New York. On December 15, 1995, he completed a two -year sentence in Puerto Rico at Hogar Crea, a program for substance abuse. It was during this time, that he began to understand the dangers of drugs in communities and how they were killing people. During the same month, Mr. Del Valle traveled to Massachusetts, where he obtained his Commercial Driver License (CDL).

With his life on track, Mr. Del Valle realized that he could help other addicts become drug free. He was inspired by his encounter with the Lord, Jesus Christ, who encouraged Mr. Del Valle to make a major life transformation. Mr. Del Valle received training in substance abuse and counseling and obtained his license to become a counselor. He trained at the Latino Health Institute (LHI), the St. Francis House, and with the Narconon program. Mr. Del Valle spends his time hosting workshops and talks about drug abuse and the dangers drugs pose physically, emotionally, and mentally.
